Ausure Purchase Insure 247

Ausure, one of Australia’s largest networks of Insurance Brokers and AR Groups has acquired Insure 247.

With this acquisition, Ausure gains a greater presence in the digital space. As part of this acquisition, the senior management of Insure 247 will join the Ausure team. 247 Founder Stephen Sloan takes the role of Head of Communications & Digital.

Adam Sloan, recognised as one of the most promising young stars in the Australian industry (Insurance Business Young Gun awards winner), takes on the role of Manager – Head of Sales.

Ausure and Insure 247

Insure 247 was one of the original digital disruptors in the insurance industry. Since its inception in 2012, Insure 247 has been owned and operated by the Sloan family, while being an Authorised Representative of Ausure. Ausure was also an equity partner with the Sloan Family in several ventures, including Insure 247 New Zealand.

As part of the arrangement, Ausure also takes an equity stake in 247 Systems – A Virtual Insurance Distribution System, which uses a digital-first, cloud-based platform, offering integrated transactions between clients, broker and underwriters.
